Step 7 allows you to find swapped song- and artist names.
Now, in step 7 you can check for swapped song- and artist names. In
the screen shot above you can see such an error. That can happen when one File Name Filter is used on two files, where these files have song- and artist name swapped. Example:
One friend you got an mp3 file used:
song - artist, e.g. Get the Party Started - Pink.mp3
An other one used:
artist - song, e.g. pink - get the party started.mp3
Toricxs has no chance to know
which of the two formats are used when it reads a file name in the format x - y.mp3. X can be a song name, but also an artist name. YOU must correct that (although this almost never happens). Therefore you
use the swap check in the following way:
press the check button (1)
if files are listed (in the listing box (2)), check if any file has the song- and artist name swapped. If you
found one, mark it by clicking once on it and press the ‘Swapped’-button (3).
If you want to edit a file’s artist- or song name then mark the file and press the edit buttons (4, 5).
When there are no (further) errors in the listed files then press the ‘All correct’-button (6). Repeat the last
two steps until there’s no further error.
